MERGE Youth 

 

Hello! Welcome to the MERGE Youth page! Let me introduce myself. My name is Derek Kresge and currently, I am the youth pastor at the MRCC Church. I have lived in the Maple Rapids area most of my life. I was home schooled until my junior year of high school when I enrolled in Fulton High School and graduated from there in 2004. I then attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA where I studied teaching English as a second language. I graduated in 2008 and became the youth pastor here in 2009. Obviously that means I have pastored at the church for over five years now, and I still love working with teenagers. I would love to tell you that I have life and following Jesus all figured out, but hey, that just wouldn't be true. Thankfully He is still at work in my soul by His Spirit, and I love it when He uses me to love and affect the souls of the others. I love my family and have the greatest wife and coolest sons that you ever could ask for. I would love to meet you and hope to soon if I have not!
